TraceLink Now Has Access to Over 80% of Entire U.S. Hospital Market Through its GPO Partnerships

TraceLink, the World’s Largest Track and Trace Network for connecting the life sciences supply chain and eliminating counterfeit prescription drugs from the global marketplace, today announced a national group purchasing contract with Intalere, an industry leader in delivering optimal cost, quality and clinical outcomes for its members. Under this agreement, TraceLink’s market-leading Product Track solution will be offered at pre-negotiated contract terms and pricing for approximately 90,000 healthcare providers within the Intalere member network, providing them with an affordable path to comply with the U.S. Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA).

This partnership further validates TraceLink’s position as the leading solution provider for DSCSA compliance and adds to TraceLink’s growing network of group purchasing organization (GPO) alliances, which now covers more than 80 percent of the entire U.S. hospital market.

With the TraceLink Product Track solution, Intalere members will also join the TraceLink network of more than 240,000 global healthcare entities working together to secure the pharmaceutical supply chain, and a growing community of hospitals and pharmacy leaders that use Product Track at over 4,000 dispensing locations throughout the United States. By accessing TraceLink’s easy-to-use, proven solution, hospitals, pharmacies and healthcare providers are able to eliminate the burden of compliance paperwork, giving them more time to provide critical care to patients.

“We are excited to partner with Intalere, one of the most innovative healthcare service organizations, and offer TraceLink’s proven solution to their extensive member network of hospitals and healthcare providers,” said Shabbir Dahod, president and CEO of TraceLink. “Our expanding partnerships in the GPO market now give the majority of U.S. hospitals access to TraceLink’s Product Track during a critical time as they prepare to comply with the next phase of DSCSA.”
