Michael Owings is Vice President of Quality and Regulatory Compliance at TraceLink, responsible for strengthening the company’s global compliance strategy and operational framework in accordance with all government and industry regulations. Since joining TraceLink in 2015, he has been consistently in front of customers, providing audits and assurances of validated systems and services, sound incident handling, and security around the clock.

Owings brings to his role more than 20 years of experience in clinical informatics, pharmaceutical research, and technology implementation. Prior to TraceLink, he served as Vice President, Quality and Regulatory Compliance at PHT Corporation, and before that he held VP of Quality and Regulatory Compliance positions at Oracle Health and Phase Forward. Owings has a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from

Owings has a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from University of Missouri-Kansas City.  He is a Certified Professional Privacy Professional (CIPP).
