This Help Center is subject to change based on the deployment of the release. In the event of changes, the Help Center will be updated within one week of release deployment. Deployment completion can be confirmed in the TraceLink Release Notice email. ### Patch releases The following patches are released for this version: - OPUS Platform, Nielsen Release 2024.10.1 is available on Validation and Production on 21 Nov 2024. These patches are cumulative, and the most recent patch release includes functionality from all previous versions. ## Revisions Date Revision Description 16 Nov 2024 01 Initial version. 21 Nov 2024 02 Issue information for the OPUS Platform, Nielsen Release 2024.10.1 release is added: - 1 issue is added to the Resolved issues. - 0 issues are added to the Known issues ## UI features The following new or updated functionality is included in this release. ### OPUS Ensemble #### Enhancements to Login to Use Next Generation User Experience This release integrates the OPUS platform login with the OPUS Ensemble global user experience, including new success messages, new error messages, and updated security verification measures. The OPUS Ensemble global user experience provides an improved layout and navigation system that simplifies the user's journey across multiple TraceLink networks and solutions, and makes the user login experience faster, simpler, and more secure. **Impact analysis** - Interface options: - Web UI - Business segment impacts: - All business segments (both Owners and Partners) ### OPUS Solution Environment  The following features support OPUS Solution Environment (OSE) functionality. #### Display Nested Collections as Lists in a New Page in OSE In OSE, when a New page contains a collection displayed as a list, Solution Designers can add another collection that appears as a nested list inside the original collection. By allowing nested lists, New pages can support more complex object types without requiring complex configurations or separate components. **Impact analysis** - Interface options: - Web UI - Business segment impacts: - All business segments (both Owners and Partners) #### Enhancements to Creating and Configuring Pages in a Solution This release includes the following improvements for Solution Designers when creating and configuring pages in a Company Solution in OSE: - Solution Designers can enable multi-field search, which allows users to search for values across multiple base object types and subtypes. Previously, users could only search for values within a specified field. - Solution Designers can add the New object operation to Search pages, which extends the functionality of the Search page and allows users to perform additional actions on a Search page. - The Design Operation push panel remains open after a Solution Designer applies their updates, which reduces the time and effort required to apply multiple updates to a design element. This feature also includes system updates that support additional OSE functionality. **Impact analysis** - Interface options: - Web UI - Business segment impacts: - All business segments (both Owners and Partners) #### Enhancements to Viewing a Page in a Solution This release includes the following improvements for users when viewing a page in a solution: - Users can select Lookup by Volume fields to view a list of objects that match the data in the field. - All page types support the Radio Group component, which allows users to select one option from a group of predefined values. - Users can search across multiple rows in a collection table. - Users can hover over an OPUS Ensemble tab to display a tooltip. This feature also includes system updates that support additional OSE functionality. **Impact analysis** - Interface options: - Web UI - Business segment impacts: - All business segments (both Owners and Partners) ## System features The OPUS Platform is the set of tools and services used to develop and manage the apps and solutions that allow your company to accomplish its supply chain collaboration goals, including but not limited to serialization, government compliance, and data analytics. This release includes OPUS Platform system updates that support all OPUS business apps and solutions and are available immediately. Updates that impact individual apps or solutions are documented in the applicable help center. ## Resolved issues ### OPUS Nielsen Release, version 2024.10.1 The following issues are resolved in this release. The prefixes are for internal TraceLink tracking purposes and do not mean anything to customers. #### OPUS Platform ID Interface Description **CMCP-38019: Authorization Issue Blocks Audit Trail Export Request** Web UI Users are unable to export their audit trails due to a policy configuration issue. This issue is resolved. This issue is resolved. ### OPUS Nielsen Release, version 2024.10.0 The following issues are resolved in this release. The prefixes are for internal TraceLink tracking purposes and do not mean anything to customers. #### OPUS Ensemble ID Interface Description **TL-26716: Custom Solution Name Text Box Not Present During Edit Network Operation** Web UI When editing a network, the Custom Solution Name text box is not present in the Edit Network panel. This issue is resolved. **TL-37270: Incorrect Label on Push Panel Close Button** Web UI The label on the Close button in the push panel incorrectly says Collapse. This issue is resolved. **TL-49121: Incorrect Error Message for Users Without Memberships** Web UI Users without memberships to a network do not see a meaningful error message when attempting to log in. This issue is resolved. #### OPUS Platform ID Interface Description **CMCP-37894: No Data Available for MINT Search Serialization Transactions** Web UI Transactions with a large number of Serial Numbers are not displayed in the UI. This issue is resolved. **TL-48674: Users Can Reuse Previous Passwords** Web UI Users are able to reuse passwords in violation of their defined password reuse policy. This issue is resolved. **TL-52509: Capture OPUS User Activation and Deactivation** Web UI OPUS user activation and deactivation is not captured in the Audit Trail. This issue is resolved. #### OPUS Solution Environment ID Interface Description **TL-52894: User Can Create a Next Version of a Solution if the Solution is Processing** Web UI When a solution version is stuck in a processing state, subsequent versions can be created, promoted, or validated. OSE should not permit these operations until the current version is no longer processing.
