## Release information

This document describes the TraceLink capabilities included in the Master Data, solution version 16.0.0 release, which is available on Validation on 16 Jul 2026 and Production on 18 Aug 2026.

The following solutions are impacted by this release and will be updated to the version listed:

## UI Features

The following new or updated functionality will be included in this release.### <a name="Support_Product%0AMaster_Data"></a>Support Product Master Data to Capture Reporting Requirements for Traceability and Verification System (TRVST)

Application Administrators for Master Data can update and maintain Traceability and Verification System (TRVST) data in Product Master Data through the UI. This new feature enables TRVST verification and traceability for target markets that do not have national verification systems.

- A new **Product Classification** section is added to the **Add Product** page, that has the following fields:
    
    
    - Code Type drop-down – Determines the type of product classification code:
        
        
        - **ATC Code** – Anatomical Therapeutic Chemical (ATC) code is a WHO -assigned alphanumeric identifier that classifies medicines based on the target system and their therapeutic and chemical properties.
        - **UNSPSC** – United Nations Standard Products and Services Code (UNSPSC) is a global, hierarchical classification system used to categorize goods and services, owned by UNDP and managed by GS1 US.
        - **GPC Code** – Global Product Classification (GPC) code is a standardized, hierarchical system maintained by GS1 to classify products by category.
    - Code Value field – The value of the product classification code.
    Apply the product classification codes across multiple products. These codes are shared identifiers used by multiple products.

- A new Pharmacovigilance Code field is added to the existing **Target Markets** section. The Pharmacovigilance Code is a standardized, systematic process of converting medical terms and adverse events (AEs) from safety reports into specific, standardized terminology for analysis.

- In the Product Master Data screen, the CSV import and export files are updated to support the new TRVST product classification and target market data fields.
