TraceLink Inc., the World’s Largest Track and Trace Network for connecting the life sciences supply chain and eliminating counterfeit prescription drugs from the global marketplace, today announced that the TraceLink Life Sciences Cloud has been named a Gold winner of the Edison Award™, awarded for innovation in the Data Security category. TraceLink was recognized at the April 20th Edison Award ceremony at The Capitale in New York City.

In 2013, TraceLink was recognized as an Edison Award winner for its innovation in the health management category, joining other prior Edison winners such as Apple, GE Healthcare, SpaceX and other visionaries driving transformation in business and society.

The ballot of nominees for the Edison Awards was judged by a panel of more than 3,000 leading business executives including past award winners, academics and leaders in the fields of product development, design, engineering, science and medical.
Edison Award winners represent "game changing" products and services, as well as excellence and leadership in innovation. Being recognized with an Edison Award has become one of the highest accolades a company can receive in the name of innovation and business. The awards are named after Thomas Alva Edison (1847-1931) whose inventions, new product development methods and innovative achievements literally changed the world, garnered him 1,093 U.S. patents, and made him a household name around the world.
