Pharmaceutical supply chain partners are under increasing pressure to manage DSCSA compliance exceptions efficiently and at scale. In this FutureLink Boston 2025 session, NNIT/Excellis leaders Scott Potteiger and Dennis Even share real-world insights from more than 20 exception strategy engagements with manufacturers, wholesalers, and dispensers. They explore the root causes of common exceptions, from data mismatches to non-standard shipping practices, and outline structured methods for diagnosis, documentation, and resolution.

Potteiger and Even also introduce a framework for building right-sized exception playbooks based on risk levels, business models, and partner relationships—offering manufacturers and trading partners a clear path to maintaining compliance without disrupting operations.

Key takeaways:

  • Why defining exception types and risk levels is foundational to DSCSA compliance
  • How to avoid common pitfalls like false assumptions, data mismatches, and lack of partner alignment
  • What long-term exception management strategies should include—from scalable processes to virtual returns

Watch now to learn how your organization can get ahead of DSCSA exceptions with the right strategy, structure, and tools.
