TraceLink’s canonicals provide a system agnostic representation of transaction objects (e.g. Purchase Order, Invoice, etc.) coming in to and out of TraceLink’s systems. As part of TraceLink’s “Integrate Once, Interoperate with Everyone” approach, our canonicals ensure that customers only need to map their transaction data from their system of record once, in their preferred format (e.g. EDI X12, iDoc, OData, etc.), to be able to transact with all of their downstream partners in any of their preferred formats.
