$1 Million OPUS Agentic Business Process Challenge

banner-image

A global competition inviting developers, business process specialists, companies, and universities worldwide to build and demonstrate Agentic Business Processes on OPUS for a $1 million winner-takes-all prize.

Announced at FutureLink Barcelona 2026, the $1 Million OPUS Agentic Business Process Challenge will launch in January 2027. Participants will have the opportunity to build working Agentic Business Processes (ABPs) using TraceLink's OPUS Agentic Supply Chain Operating System.

The Challenge

AI agents can handle individual tasks, but end-to-end business processes involve multiple systems, decisions, humans, and organizations. Making them work together requires more than a collection of independent agents.

TraceLink's OPUS Agentic Supply Chain Operating System provides a no-code, agentic platform foundation for building and orchestrating these processes. It brings together governed AI agents, business process orchestration, enterprise and multienterprise data integration, operational knowledge and context, and TraceLink's global business network.

The challenge is to design, build, and demonstrate a working Agentic Business Process on OPUS that addresses a real business problem.

The winning individual or team will receive a $1 million award, with selected submissions potentially showcased to demonstrate the breadth of innovation enabled by OPUS.

Who Can Participate

The challenge welcomes individual developers, business process specialists, companies, and academic teams interested in building Agentic Business Processes on OPUS.

Participants may include:

  • Software developers and AI engineers
  • Solution architects
  • Business process architects and business process management (BPM) specialists
  • Process automation engineers and business process reengineering consultants
  • Enterprises, including TraceLink customers
  • Systems integrators and consulting firms
  • Technology and software companies
  • Universities and academic teams
  • Independent developers

Individuals and teams may participate independently, without requiring enterprise sponsorship or an existing paying customer relationship with TraceLink.

Final eligibility requirements will be announced before the competition opens.
