I enjoy coming to FutureLink every year. The whole family in the industry is getting together and you're able to exchange opinions and solutions to the different problems that you face.
The thing I'm most excited for at FutureLink is being with all of our peers. You get to talk to people one on one and then you kind of understand that what you think might be a unique challenge is not a unique challenge and somebody else has already gone through it and can give you advice.
The information that can be obtained from FutureLink is uncomparable. You get the knowledge from the experts to be able to see what's up and coming, to be able to speak with direct stakeholders that are across the different parts of the supply chain.
What we have done together in partnership with all of you is we've actually constructed the largest end-to-end digitalization effort ever done in the industry. And all of us in this room have gone through this journey to really protect that patient.
When I first came to you guys, it was all about compliance. Fast forward 15 years later, when I think about MINT, or I think about predictive, for me, that's a next, next.
The goal here is to really pursue a model that allows our customers and their partners to truly pursue full digitalization with their end-to-end supply chain. But ultimately, this is meant to democratize the access to digitalization for everyone.
FutureLink and its emphasis on digitalization of the supply chain was the place I wanted to go to learn more about: What are the different avenues we can explore? Where do we want to be in one year, two years, three years, five years from now?
One of the major things that we struggle with in the supply chain is drug shortages. And so, leveraging the amount of vast data you have, you're able to make those predictions one day, seven days, 90 days in advance. That is so useful for us to make sure that we have the medications that we need for our patients when we need them.
If we can get all of our partners onto the platform and collaborate together on the platform, I think it will be invaluable to being able to see the end-to-end supply chain process going forward.
Now you see the full vision here, right? The ability to go end-to-end digitalization on top of your track and trace. This is just the beginning.
