Find out what's new in the Administration app that provides support for companies that own Opus or Track & Track apps to link Partners and internal locations to those apps and their respective networks.

Release information

This document describes the TraceLink capabilities included in the Administration, version 2024.3 Roadmap release, which is available on Validation on 09 Jul 2024 and Production on 06 Aug 2024.

The following apps are impacted by this release and will be updated to the version listed:

  • Administration, version 2024.3.1 is available on Validation on 23 Jul 2024 and Production on 06 Aug 2024.

The following new or updated system functionality is included in this release.

B2B messages

Create and Activate Integration Principals

This feature includes support for a System Administrator to create an edit an integration principal to enable communication between TraceLink's apps. For more information about the corresponding solution feature, see the release.

Enable Transform Sets

This feature includes support for a System Administrator to create a transform set, which is a collection of transforms that can be used to send or receive different B2B messages. For more information about the corresponding solution feature, see the release.

Associate B2B Connections

This feature includes support for a System Administrator to associate a B2B connection with a company, an internal location, an app, or a B2B message to receive inbound and send outbound messages. For more information about the corresponding solution feature, see the release.

Configure B2B Connections

This feature includes support for a System Administrator to configure a B2B connection so the appropriate Link Identifier, SAP Configure, and EDI Configuration settings can be used for an app or network. For more information about the corresponding solution feature, see the release.

Impact analysis

The impacts for these features are the same as the feature in the Administration, solution version 6.0 release.

User SSO settings

Manage User Session Timeouts and Password Settings

This feature includes support for System Administrators to configure user session timeouts and password settings in the Admin UI. For more information about the corresponding solution feature, see the release.

View Last Login and Password Expiration Rules

This feature includes support for System Administrators to view login and password rules for a specific user in the Admin UI. For more information about the corresponding solution feature, see the release.

Reset Password Functionality

This feature includes support for System Administrators to reset a password for a user in the Admin UI. For more information about the corresponding solution feature, see the release.

Impact analysis

The impacts for these features are the same as the feature in the Administration, solution version 6.0 release.

Audit Trail Information in the Opus UI

Export Audit Trail Information in the Opus UI

This feature includes support for System Administrators and Application Administrator to view and export audit trail information in the Opus Admin UI. For more information about the corresponding solution feature, see the release.

Impact analysis

The impacts for this feature is the same as the feature in the Administration, solution version 6.0 release.

Resolved issues

Administration version 2024.3.1

The following issues are resolved in this release. The prefixes are for internal TraceLink tracking purposes and do not mean anything to customers.

CMCP-37228: Unable to Select Subscribed Partner Apps while Creating Integration Principal User

API

When a user creates a new integration principal, the user cannot provide access to different apps for the created integration principal. In the app drop-down, the user should be able to view licensed apps for the user's company along with the subscribed apps for which they are a Partner.

This issue is resolved.

CMCP-37230: Configure Inbound-Outbound UI App drop-down does not work for Service to Non-Service Use Case

API

When configuring Inbound-Outbound connections, a user should be able select licensed apps for the user's company along with the subscribed apps for which they are a Partner. Subscribed apps are not visible in the app drop-down in Inbound and Outbound configuration pages.

This issue is resolved.

Administration version 2024.3.0

TL-41008: New users cannot access the Opus Ensemble global user experience

API

Users cannot access the opus ensemble user experience due to an internal API issue There is no impact to existing users.

This issue is resolved.
