Key Takeaways

  • A business transformation focused on achieving greater supply chain agility requires people, processes, technology, and leadership.
  • Today, it takes much more than an enterprise resource planning (ERP) implementation to ensure supply chain agility.

TraceLink’s Roddy Martin on the evolution of the phrase “business transformation” and what it takes for today’s pharma companies to achieve supply chain agility.

Transcript:

Transformation, in a traditional sense, sadly, has meant, “We’re going to put in an ERP system to our hospital system or our pharma manufacturing system and in doing so, we’re going to transform the business operating model.”
