UI features

The following new or updated functionality is included in this release.

Extensible TraceLink Transfer Link Actions, solution version 7.3.0

Link Actions: Manage B2B Connections for SAP S/4Hana

Application Administrators can now use the Extensible TraceLink Transfer Link Actions, solution version 7.3.0 to . Application Administrators must first create an XTT Link Actions Catalog Item before creating a B2B connection.

Companies can exchange files asynchronously using XTT Link Actions, exchanging data directly between TraceLink and SAP S/4Hana system using OAuth2 authentication. Exchanging data with external ERP systems is enabled by providing interfaces via JavaScript snippets, called Link Actions. XTT Link Actions provides a seamless connection between TraceLink and ERP systems through a single XTT Link Actions connection. Application Administrators and users with the Members - Standard access role can filter and for a given Creatio connection.

Contact the TraceLink implementation team for assistance in performing the one-time task of associating a company or location with the B2B connection.

Extensible TraceLink Transfer Link Actions, solution version 7.2.0

Support HTTP Basic Auth as OAuth2 Authentication Method

With the Extensible TraceLink Transfer Link Actions, solution version 7.2.0 release, introduces support for configuring the Token Authentication Method used to authenticate with an OAuth 2.0 token endpoint. The Token Authentication Method determines how the Client Identifier and Client Secret are sent when requesting an access token.

When Authentication Type is set to OAuth 2.0, the following Token Authentication Method options are available when creating a B2B connection:

  • Body Parameters (default) - Sends the Client Identifier and Client Secret as parameters in the token request body.

  • HTTP Basic Auth - Sends the Client Identifier and Client Secret in the HTTP Basic Authorization header when calling the token endpoint.

This feature applies to that use XTT Link Actions, including General, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, JD Edwards, and Creatio.

Extensible TraceLink Transfer Link Actions, solution version 7.1.0

Link Actions: Manage B2B Connections for General

The Extensible TraceLink Transfer Link Actions, solution version 7.1.0, introduces the General B2B connection that streamlines support for new ERPs or external systems that do not require custom attributes. The General connection option enables broader support through a reusable template. Previously, a new connection type was created for each ERP system. With the General connection, integrations that don’t require custom attributes can be supported without creating a separate connection type for each system.

The General connection supports the following features:

  • New, view, edit, and search screens

  • Support for inbound and outbound Link Action scripts in Integration Manager

  • Access permissions that match existing subtypes:

    • Application Administrator – New, Edit, View, Search

    • Member - Standard Access – View, Search

Extensible TraceLink Transfer Link Actions, solution version 7.0.0

Search for Transactions Using the Transaction Identifier Originally Submitted to TraceLink

With Extensible TraceLink Transfer Link Actions (XTT LA), solution version 7.0.0, Owners and Partners can now identify and track transactions using the new Application Transaction Identifier field, which enables users to find transactions using the ID on the transaction submitted inbound to TraceLink. Previously, the only ID transactions could be searched for and filtered by were the TraceLink generated Transaction Identifiers, however, the Application Transaction Identifier is a unique ID that is included in the message that is submitted to TraceLink.

For example, a wholesale distributor can now search for a purchase order in TraceLink using the purchase order number indicated on the inbound message sent to TraceLink. Identifying transactions using the identifier included in the original message sent to TraceLink ensures Owners and Partners can quickly access and communicate about the same unique transaction instance with the IDs they already use for that transaction, reducing the risk of misunderstanding between owners and partners and improving usability.

This feature supports all Multienterprise Information Network Tower (MINT) transaction types for inbound and outbound messages.

The complete functionality of Application Transaction Identifier field will only be available in a future MINT app release. In this release, the field is included only as part of the UI.

B2B Message Failure Notifications

Application Administrators of the Extensible TraceLink Transfer Link Actions (XTT LA) app can now receive notifications when a B2B message fails for an inbound or outbound messages. These notifications allow users to promptly take corrective action and reduce any delays in resolving processing issues while exchanging the B2B messages, helping to ensure smoother operations. Previously, users had to manually search for failed deliveries within the XTT LA app. This feature eliminates that effort by automatically sending both email and in-app notifications whenever a failure occurs. Users must sign up to receive notifications for an error indicating the reason for failure. While in-app notifications are enabled by default, users must opt-in for email notifications.

Each notification includes the reason for the failure. Selecting View Details in the Notifications side panel opens the B2B Message Details screen for the failed message.

For information on how to sign up for receiving email notifications, see the OPUS Platform Help Center.
