Release information

This document describes the TraceLink capabilities included in the Administration, version 2024.1 Roadmap release, which is available on Validation on 23 Jan 2024 and Production on 29 Feb 2024.

The following solutions are impacted by this release and will be updated to the version listed:

  • Administration, solution version 4.0

    Apps that support this solution version:

    • Administration, version 2024.1

Patch releases

The following patches are released for this version:

  • Administer, solution version 4.1.0 is available on Validation and Production on 29 Feb 2024.

These patches are cumulative, and the most recent patch release includes functionality from all previous versions.

  • Issue information for the Administer, solution version 4.1.0 patch is added:

    • 1 issue is added to Resolved issues.

UI Features

The following new or updated functionality will be included in this release.

Link Multiple Partners via CSV Import in the Opus Web UI

This feature allows System Administrators and Application Administrators to a CSV file to expedite the process of linking to hundreds of Partners in a single action. Prior to this release, System Administrators and Application Administrator had to manually link to a single Partner.

Enhance the Ability to Administer Networks

This feature includes enchantments to make it easier for System Administrators and Application Administrators to administer networks in the Opus Platform UI.

In the Networks side menu item, System Administrators and Application Administrators can now (e.g. update a solution used by a network) on the Opus Networks tab.

In the Links side menu item, the following new functionality is available for managing Links:

  • On the Opus Links tab,
    • Opus Link Owners can manage all users and roles on an Opus Link.
    • Owners of Opus Links can manage their Partner users on an Opus Link. When a System Administrator or Application Administrator links to a Partner, TraceLink sends an email to the linked Partner company.
  • On the Classic Links tab,
    • Classic Link Owners can manage all users and roles on a classic Link.
    • Classic Link Partners can manage their Partner users on a classic Link. When a System Administrator or Application Administrator links to a Partner, TraceLink sends an email to the linked Partner company.

In the Users side menu item, the following new functionality is available for managing users:

  • On the Users in Opus Networks tab,
    • System Administrators and Application Administrators can the roles of a user in the Opus Networks tab.
    • Owners can all users in the Opus Network.
    • Partners can only their users.
  • On the Users in Classic Networks tab,
    • System Administrators and Application Administrators can the roles of a user in the Classic Networks tab.
    • Owners can all users in the classic Network.
    • Partners can only their users.

System Features

There is no new or updated system functionality included in this release.

Resolved issues

Administration, version 4.1.0

The following issues are resolved in this release. The prefixes are for internal TraceLink tracking purposes and do not mean anything to customers.

36283: Cannot Add External User to Classic Network Web UI

The component to add an external user was not loading correctly so it was not possible to add an external user.

This issue is resolved.

Administration, version 4.0.0

The following issues are resolved in this release. The prefixes are for internal TraceLink tracking purposes and do not mean anything to customers.

ID Interface Issue Description
34732: Network Field is Required when Assigning a User with the System Administrator Role Web UI

The Assign User to Administrator Role overlay requires the Network field to be populated in order to assign someone with a System Administrator role. The UI must be updated to make this field optional.

This issue is resolved.

35532: Users in the Opus Network encounter an Unexpected Error While Viewing Filtered Data Web UI

When a user filters "Users in Opus Networks" Network by team and tries to navigate to the next page or increases the number of rows per page, an error displays saying "No data available" instead of showing correct data.

This issue is resolved.

Known issues

There are no known issues in this release.

Administration, version 4.0.0

The following known issues are included in this release and will be fixed in a future patch release. The prefixes are for internal TraceLink tracking purposes and do not mean anything to customers.

36039: Custom Solution Name Missing when Performing an Edit Network Operation in Opus Networks Web UI

When editing a network in the Opus Network UI, it is expected that the Custom Solution name is displayed.
