This document describes the TraceLink capabilities included in the Multienterprise Information Network Tower, solution version 13.0.0 release, which is available on Validation on 17 Dec 2023 and Production on 07 Jan 2024.

The following new or updated functionality is included in this release.

View Purchase Orders and Purchase Order Acknowledgments Sent via B2B Message in the Web UI

Companies that own Multienterprise Process Link can search for and view the details of their purchase orders and purchase order acknowledgments that are sent via B2B message in the Web UI. Depending on if the company is the buyer or supplier for a given purchase order or purchase order acknowledgment, the following Do menu items are available.

For buyers:

  • Sent Purchase Orders – Search for and that have been sent to suppliers.
  • Received Purchase Order Acknowledgments – Search for and that have been received from suppliers.

For suppliers:

  • Received Purchase Orders – Search for and that have been received from suppliers.
  • Sent Purchase Order Acknowledgments – Search for and that have been sent to buyers.

For each new Do menu item, Owners and Partners can search for and view the details of a purchase order or purchase order acknowledgment in the Web UI, which enables users to quickly access order information (e.g. the quantity for each line item in an order) without having to search through the content of the B2B message, which can be tedious and prone to copy and paste errors when extracting information.

Receive Serialized Shipment Notice Messages in Serialized Operation Manager from Multienterprise Process Connect

Companies that own Multienterprise Process Link and use TraceLink as their serialization system of record now automatically receive serialized shipment notice messages as inbound receipts in Serialized Operations Manager. When a company that uses TraceLink as its serialization system of record receives a in Multienterprise Process Connect, the notice is now communicated to Serialized Operations Manager and displays as a receipt with a Status of Unsubmitted, which enables customers to quickly and efficiently receive product in Serialized Operations Manager that they were notified of by Multienterprise Process Link.

Search for Warehouse Shipping Order and Warehouse Shipping Advice B2B Messages in the Web UI

Companies that own Multienterprise Process Link and their Partners can view and for warehouse shipping orders and warehouse shipping advices that are exchanged with Partners. Searching for and viewing Warehouse Shipping Order and Warehouse Shipping Advice Message Types that are sent asynchronously via Multienterprise Process Connect enables users to monitor the status of their messages, confirm that they have been sent or delivered, and troubleshoot message issues by viewing any errors or downloading the message input, output, and canonical files. Additionally, Application Administrators can manually reprocess outbound messages from TraceLink that failed to deliver.

ID Interface Issue Description
33824: Outbound Mapped File Name Does Not Include a File Extension Type Web UI

When users view their B2B messages on the Search Message screen, the Output File column in the results table displays the output files without the proper file extension.

This issue has been resolved.

Known issues

The following known issues are included in this release and will be fixed in a future patch release. The prefixes are for internal TraceLink tracking purposes and do not mean anything to customers.

ID Interface Issue Description
35287: MINT Search Messages Screen is Not Able to Filter by Partner Web UI When users try to filter their B2B messages by Partner, the Partner drop-down does not load with only their MINT Partners. Instead, the Partner drop-down shows all Partners present in Partner Master Data, which causes the field not to load.
