Overview

The EDI ANSI X12 852 – Product Activity transaction is used by retailers, distributors, or trading partners to report detailed product activity back to manufacturers or suppliers. This includes inventory levels, sales, receipts, returns, and on-order quantities. It enables upstream partners to gain visibility into downstream consumption and inventory movement across the channel.
