Release information
This document describes the TraceLink capabilities included in the Opus Platform, Nielsen Release 2024.10.0 release, which is available on Validation and Production on 16 Nov 2024.

Patch releases

Opus Ensemble
Enhancements to Login to Use Next Generation User Experience
This release integrates the Opus platform login with the Opus Ensemble global user experience, including new success messages, new error messages, and updated security verification measures. The Opus Ensemble global user experience provides an improved layout and navigation system that simplifies the user's journey across multiple TraceLink networks and solutions, and makes the user login experience faster, simpler, and more secure.

Opus Solution Environment
The following features support Opus Solution Environment (OSE) functionality.
Display Nested Collections as Lists in a New Page in OSE
In OSE, when a New page contains a collection displayed as a list, Solution Designers can add another collection that appears as a nested list inside the original collection. By allowing nested lists, New pages can support more complex object types without requiring complex configurations or separate components.

Enhancements to Creating and Configuring Pages in a Solution
This release includes the following improvements for Solution Designers when creating and configuring pages in a Company Solution in OSE:
- Solution Designers can enable multi-field search, which allows users to search for values across multiple base object types and subtypes. Previously, users could only search for values within a specified field.
- Solution Designers can add the New object operation to Search pages, which extends the functionality of the Search page and allows users to perform additional actions on a Search page.
- The Design Operation push panel remains open after a Solution Designer applies their updates, which reduces the time and effort required to apply multiple updates to a design element.
This feature also includes system updates that support additional OSE functionality.

Enhancements to Viewing a Page in a Solution
This release includes the following improvements for users when viewing a page in a solution:
- Users can select Lookup by Volume fields to view a list of objects that match the data in the field.
- All page types support the Radio Group component, which allows users to select one option from a group of predefined values.
- Users can search across multiple rows in a collection table.
- Users can hover over an Opus Ensemble tab to display a tooltip.
This feature also includes system updates that support additional OSE functionality.

System features
The Opus Platform is the set of tools and services used to develop and manage the apps and solutions that allow your company to accomplish its supply chain collaboration goals, including but not limited to serialization, government compliance, and data analytics. This release includes Opus Platform system updates that support all Opus business apps and solutions and are available immediately. Updates that impact individual apps or solutions are documented in the applicable help center.
